A Viable Economy

• Retain as much of Fort Valley’s resources in Fort Valley as possible
• Grant work projects to local contractors when feasible
• Create a Science/Economic Development Program for small business/new industry opportunities through the "Communiversity" effort
• Partnership with Robins Air Force Base to solicit/obtain work for local contractors through the Small Business Office at Robins
• Establish internships with the city for FVSU students
• Attract new industry and commercial business to the city

The Medical/Physical Health of Citizens

• Renovate hospital at its current location
• Eradicate environmental hazards and pollutants

Affordable Utilities

• Create a Civil Engineering Department for the Utilities Commission
• Reduce current utility rates

Affordable Housing

• Assist first time buyers with opportunities for affordable housing through Federal Funding
• Aid current home owners with finding affordable mortgages

A Safe Community

• Equip law enforcement with the tools needed to do its job
• Construct a new fire station
